Welcome to Dallas County Cricket Club
Dallas County Cricket Club are the Champions of the Premier League 2011 in the North Texas Cricket League. DCCC were crowned undisputed champions after a huge victory over Ismailia CC in the final game of the season to regain a championship they had previously won when they went undefeated in 2007 and 2009. Rahul, the victorious captain for the club, marshalled his troups very well right through the season where they won all but one match this season. The team couldn't have done this without Chicko watching over us. Chicko- We miss you Brother!!!
Jignesh Desai was one of the outstanding players this year smashing 995 runs to his name (+ 5 few more he scored in the book) to go with the 32 wickets for DCCC this season.
The club also saw the addition of a few members who have have shown great ability with ball and bat. Riaan and Ajay have already played match winning hands for the champion DCCC team with their all round performances in their short stay here at the club.
The second team has added a lot of new talented individuals - Jimmy Patel, Vinay, Dhvanit, Koteshwar Reddy, Varun, Talha, Vaibhav, Arjun etc look all set to showcase their talents and dominate next season!
So... it's been another great year for DCCC who also won the Summer - T20 championship earlier in the year and ended up runners-up in the other NTCA T20 championship. This is indeed an outstanding achievement given that most of the players were also involved with their DPL comittments with the DCC players making 9 of the top 15 picks including 4 of the 7 icon players for the various franchises.
We look forward to another year of successes starting with the winter cup 2011-2012. Are you ready to contribute to another fantastic year?
